SON SHINE 749: PAUSED

A detour on the interstate route was the beginning of the long wait.  As the vehicle made for the retailers who occasioned the turn, the young men in mufti asked the driver to park, before demanding some vehicle particulars peculiar to the State. Their coordinator, sat under a shelter, refusing to budge when shown all other documents. It was a long interval, before the officer allowed the car to go.

“And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. Exodus 12:41 (King James Bible)

That pause is only a comma, not a full stop
