SON SHINE 779: DEEPER

The pianist steadily found his rhythm, with the flock hailing the Power of Jesus name. As the singing got louder, his voice rose slightly, maintaining the same pace, as the congregation acknowledged “What a Friend we have in Jesus”. But as the hymn went “Deeper, Deeper in the love of Jesus”, something gave way within, and the tears began to flow. From then, every other line became a reminder of both the unquestionable love of the Omnipotent, and His unsearchable supremacy in the affairs of men. Although the tears flowed at intervals, that was only a prelude to the weightier moment, the following day.

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” Romans 11:33 (King James Bible)

We shall understand it better someday
