The boss turned down her first two applications, but she didn’t give up. She opted to brave it by discussing with her, not quite sure if that would make the difference. By the next morning, the boss called. What she had categorically declared impossible to approve, became possible. The boss reversed herself this time, in a matter of hours.

“And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, … stood …saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand.”  Judges 20:28 (KJV)

Two failures do not signify the end of hope
