SON SHINE 892: STRANDED

The neighbourhood was picturesque, and a shot with him in his black jeans and top, would only have heightened the desperation – from a distance, to be where he is. But he was living on the margins, in a strange land. Although stylish about asking for alms, there was clearly a drug addiction to be fed. The son who probably got abroad through the eye of a needle, only moved from limitation to desperation.

“… this younger son … moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living …, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve.” –  Luke 15:13-14 (New Living Translation Bible)    

Reality is beyond selfies
