The business associate offered him the opportunity to move beyond the crumbs he was receiving to what befitted his acknowledged competence. The catch was an invitation to a meeting after midnight – at a high brow zone, which he reluctantly agreed to. The boisterous scene was the first repulsion when he got there, but the demand to complete the formalities for belonging, ended his appetite. He opted to wait for God’s time, by taking a walk into the lonely night.
