SON SHINE 1030: MESSAGE

He appeared uninterested, maybe bored, preferring to surf his phone. The preacher had tried a few puns to get the congregation’s attention, but he apparently found a sporting activity on the web more important. By the time the sermon ended after 20 minutes, he exited the internet. It wasn’t too clear what the remaining hour of the service meant to him, since he switched off when it mattered the most.
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” – Matthew 6:24 (New King James Bible)
