They had in years of being tenants, built a number of apartments in the city, later moving into one of them. The couple however noticed a difference, prompting a request to their former landlord to return as tenants, offering to pay twice the rent. They moved into the next available flat, as they found themselves prospering more in the house where they were tenants.
